Getting caught up again ....
July 31, 2026, we traded in the 2nd camper (Series M FW) for one a bit larger ---- Grand Design Lineage Series F 31ZW. It's 33' 9" long & much higher at 12' 3" with two slides. Something we'll have to get used to.
We had taken the FW in for service (Defuniak Springs) & looked at this one. We weren't happy with the FW & Greg definitely didn't like the way it handled while driving on the Interstate (on the way to to dealer). So, we looked at this one & decided to go ahead & pull the plug.
We decided to go on a two day shake down trip to Reed Bingham SP just down the road. We stayed in site #33 this time which was a bit more private than the last site we stayed at in December 2025.
It so happened that one of my cousins & his wife (E&M) were camping there at the same time. Also, his daughter & SIL along with their daughter (plus pups), were also camping.
Greg had a bit of Vertigo which made setting up a little challenging but we just took out time & got it done. We didn't have to cook much because E&M invited us over for breakfast as well as dinner.
We had plenty of time to 'get used' to the new camper & all it's controls & had a very pleasant stay with being able to visit & eat with relatives.
One mishap w/sewer & that was a first for us in almost 7 years of camping. Always learning something new .....
