I had lunch with Izzy & the Moose yesterday! I had to attend a conference in their neck of the woods this week & had asked if they would be available to meet for a while.
Izzy said yes & we decided to meet for lunch. It was a very enjoyable few hours. Izzy & I shared a couple of Margarita's & just sat & talked a while. Then the Moose joined us & we talked some more. Obviously, we share many of the same interests & goals(& dislikes of snakes) so that made it easy. They are enjoying their 'experiments' so much that it's contagious. I think I might just go ahead & get some chicks at our City House!
I find it nice to be able to put faces to blog personas(sp?) and their's did not disappoint one bit. I felt very much at ease with both of them & think we will continue our 'meetings' as we continue to find ourselves in each other's areas. Can't wait to see them again & have them meet Justin.
I had to leave the conference & come to the Country House unexpectedly (oh gosh darn), instead of heading home to the City House.
The guys that are going to 'do' our driveway are coming tomorrow!!!! I got here, after driving through rain storm after rain storm, to find an excavator & a backhoe sitting on property. Hopefully, the rain didn't muddy things up too much to actually work on the driveway. If not, I'll be sure to take pics all day tomorrow & post on the driveway progress early next week.
Yes, get the chicks for the city house!! They are amazing to watch! My favorite breeds are Americaunas and Buff Orpingtons. Everyone is amazed by the blue eggs that the Americaunas lay. Some will ask if it is okay to eat those eggs!!
